Privacy
The Lucky Dangle app collects nothing. There are no accounts, advertisements, or in-app analytics. Your charm choice and settings stay on your machine.
This website uses Vercel Web Analytics to count anonymous page views and a few interactions, such as checkout clicks, downloads, charm choices, and rituals. Vercel does not use cookies for Web Analytics or associate these events with a person or IP address. Analytics never include names, email addresses, payment information, or anything you type into the emoji field.
The app checks a static file on this site for updates (via Sparkle on Mac, and a plain version manifest on Windows), which is how new charms arrive. Lucky Dangle adds no identifier or usage data to that request.
Purchases are processed by Stripe, our merchant of record. Their privacy policy covers checkout. We never see your payment details.
When you buy, we keep a small delivery record so your download page and the optional Make it yours name stamp work, and so we can help if you ever lose your link: your display name, a one-way scrambled (hashed) form of your email address, and Stripe's reference numbers for the purchase. Your address itself stays with Stripe. We use it once to send your welcome email through Resend, and the record lives in a database hosted by Neon. For team licenses, the addresses an administrator invites are stored encrypted so the dashboard can show and manage them; releasing a seat deletes the invitation. These records exist to serve your purchase — we keep them while the purchase stands, delete them on request, and never use them for marketing.
The optional Make it yours stamp works offline: pressing the link stores a signed note of your name inside the app on that computer. The app still sends nothing anywhere.
If you leave your email on the other platforms page, it is used for exactly one message — the day the platform you asked for is ready — and nothing else. No mailing list, no marketing.
