What arrived

The charm now hangs even when another app is holding its keyboard shortcut. Before this, a busy shortcut could stop Lucky Dangle from starting at all. Now it simply waits its turn, picks the shortcut up when it comes free, and hangs regardless. Thank you to the customer whose crash report pinpointed this.

A small sturdiness update. If anything ever goes wrong while the charm is arriving, Lucky Dangle now says so plainly and leaves a little note you can send us, so we can make it right quickly. The installer also learned to fetch a missing Windows component on its own.

The nimbu-mirchi ritual now plays in the proper order: the dried garland rides up and out first, and only then does the fresh one drop in.

Himmeli joins the collection — a Finnish rye-straw mobile, hung for abundance, prosperity, and a fruitful flow of work. Set its open geometry turning on an imagined current of air.

The cord learned to hold on. It now has the grain of a real thread, and it visibly ties onto every charm: looped through the horseshoe's ring, the scarab's bail, and the Ghanta's crown, and bound onto the Páncháng jié's silk with tiny red wraps. The Ghanta's copper also catches a little more light.

Two charms join the collection. Ghanta is an Indian bell in aged copper, rung to clear the air and mark a beginning. Give it a ring when you make a wish, or before something that matters, and it answers with a real bell. The Páncháng jié is one unbroken red cord, tied for good fortune without end. Cinch it, and let it settle.

The charm learned to sip. A smarter redraw repaints only as often as the swing actually needs — at rest, barely at all — so a hanging charm now costs a whisper of battery. The physics didn't change a hair: same swing, same idle sway, same feel. Also: fresh installs now hang the charm on the right, out of your working view (re-hang it anywhere, as ever), and send to back / bring to front comes with its own shortcut out of the box, ⌃A.

Lucky Dangle now hangs on Intel Macs too. The app is universal from this release on — Apple silicon or Intel, one download, same charm, same swing. Thanks to the kind owner of a 2019 MacBook Pro who tested it on the real thing. Nothing else moved; your charm won't notice.

Opening day. The museum doors are open — welcome to 1.0. The blessing is now the whole gesture: one line, open "luckydangle://bless", brings the charm in front, drops it in if it was away, and performs its ritual right on cue.
